Why your chrome is reporting Your clock is ahead

All search engines have a standard built-in certificate list of various SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). In SSL, clocks are used for certificate validation. Certificates used by websites that are considered safe (whose URLs start with "HTTPS://") are only issued for a specific period of time. If a website presents a certificate with a validity period that doesn't match the current value of your system clock, browsers cannot verify that the connection is secure.

Time sync saves from replay attacks .without them some can record the packets sent between client and server and can decrypt the data and could be modified and resend again. And packet stream can be sent again. and nobody would be clever. but decryption takes some time to timestamp (confirms from both sides) so can sow the indication that the stream is a replay.

So that means it is very important to inform clients that they are with the right server. For that client will approve the server certificates .to direct confirmation or verify a lot of things: two of them involved clock.
In server certificates, there should be included the current time in their time range in each certificate as not before or not after fields. time should fall between these two dates.

If the client's clock turns off then it will break both of the features. and server certificate would be considered as expired or unusable can lead to rejection
